Polka – Yves Klein Blue

Australian band Yves Klein Blue lend their fun little ditty, Polka, to a neat Mitsubishi commercial in which a young couple packs up their car from the second floor of their house:

While the song compliments the fun and upbeat nature of the commercial, its lyrics carry a far different tone:

Florence & the Machine’s highly anticipated album is scheduled to be released in a couple of weeks. I am super excited for this one. My excitement comes mostly from the beautiful Maida Vale sessions she’s done in the past couple of years.  Florence Welch’s powerful vocals are impossible to ignore. At times she sings like a delicate angel come down from the heavens to pass on an important message, at others the power of her voice can knock you over. Major Lazer’s debut album dropped last month, it’s wittily called Guns don’t Kill People… Lazers Do. One of the alter-egos of Switch bring us a Jamaican mix-mastering commando who blends reggae, dancehall, and electro brilliance. See for yourself:
