Carnivalé
Did you watch HBO’s Carnivalé? It remains one on my favourite shows. So haunting, and beautiful. The soundtrack, for the most part, fits those adjectives as well. My favourite tracks from the soundtrack have an elegant interplay between the banjo and the violin.

Thanks for posting this. The actor who plays the ringmaster is an old friend and I have never run into any music from the series. He was also part of another show with a great soundtrack: Twin Peaks.

Twin Peaks was super-awesome! One of the few shows that can be put in the same category as Carnivalé!
