Armin Van Burren

I have had the pleasure of seeing Armin Van Buuren spin twice. The second time was when Perfect and I met on the dance floor. It was a good night to say the least! Armin Van Buuren has such a nice style, light and trancey, but only quality trance! Here are three of my favourite tracks I was introduced to by Armin:

Talk Like a Stranger (Markus Schulz Mix) – Deepsky

This track has a thumping baseline juxtaposed against the sweet female vocals of Jes Brieden that takes the listener into day-dreamland, or to the middle of the dance floor. It has long been one of my faves!

Hello Strings by Synergy

I don’t know anything about this track, other than it is also from Armin’s Universal Religion 2004, it is the opener to the live mix to be specific, and it is a super neat tune. All spacey, and dancey as only 2004 could have pulled off.

OutsiderKirsty Hawkshaw & Tenshia

Sadly, I don’t know much about this track either. I believe I first heard it a an Armin show, and then tracked it down with great determination! I love the tune’s unique layering of different percussion elements, and Kirst Hawkshaw’s beautiful vocals singing of self reflection and rapture.
