Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

There’s a new service out there in the music industry called rVibe. This company is coming up with new ways to make money for the artists & musicians we love so dearly, while the dinosaurs at the top of the recording industry complain about dropping CD sales. rVibe broadcasts live concerts online. For a small fee, you can see your favorite bands play live, while hanging out in your pj’s!

Tomorrow, November 17th 2009, at 10pm Eastern time, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros will be performing at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. If you are in New York, go to the show! If not, spend 5 bucks to see it online, via rVibe! I believe you can watch the show after it’s done on an on demand basis as well.

Until tomorrow evening, enjoy this fun little ditty: Janglin by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeors!

Larson over at Steropathic Music tipped me off to Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and I’ve got to say that I am grateful! I love this band! Their sound is new, uplifting, fun and interesting. Best to listen for yourself:

HomeEdward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

Well, hot and heavy, pumpkin pie,
Chocolate candy, Jesus Christ,
Ain’t nothing please me more than you.

Ahh Home. Let me come home
Home is wherever I’m with you.
Ahh Home. Let me go ho-oh-ome.
Home is wherever I’m with you.

I love the lyrics… they make me think of my home, my Perfect! Check out the guy/girl duet live on Letterman, their performance is nothing less than electric!
