The XX have been all over the blogs for the past couple of months with the release of their self-titled, debut album being released a couple of weeks ago, and for good reason: They are good! Give their cover of Kyla‘s Do You Mind a listen is you don’t believe me… so beautiful!

The lucky 4 are touring with Florence & the Machine this month in the UK. If you have the occassion to go, you should, because sadly, I won’t be able to go

Florence & the Machine‘s highly anticipated album is scheduled to be released in a couple of weeks. I am super excited for this one. My excitement comes mostly from the beautiful Maida Vale sessions she’s done in the past couple of years.  Florence Welch’s powerful vocals are impossible to ignore. At times she sings like a delicate angel come down from the heavens to pass on an important message, at others the power of her voice can knock you over. She’s going to be out and about on the festival circuit (mostly UK) this summer. Check  out the Florence & the Machine mySpace page for details on the dates, and please enjoy:
